Join us in this first networking session for 2016 where we can share and explore successful approaches to idea generation as well as lessons learnt.
Enabling innovation and improvement within Australian organisations has become a key emphasis in the national debate for creating high performance organisations on the global and national stage (‘National Innovation and Science Agenda’). The Business Excellence Philosophy provides organisations with a comprehensive framework that allows practical steps to be taken to encourage an innovative culture and capability.
One of the underlying capabilities within organisations is the ability to generate, evaluate and use ideas in all kinds of different contexts. One obvious application involves ideas for new products, services or processes. However, idea generation in improvement planning, problem analysis and solution development are just some of the day to day contexts in which people need to break out of existing patterns of thinking and come up with new and useful ways of working.
More information coming soon.
If you want to share your story on idea generation please get in touch with us at business.practice@uts.edu.au
